1.) Independent Band/Artist Promotion:
We aggressively promote great independent, unsigned bands/artists of ANY genre. Please take a look at our BAND LINKS page - each band/artist on this page is supported and promoted by us. The promotion consists of a link exchange, possibly a LIVE on-air interview, a slot on our Supported Bands show that plays three times a week (see the Schedule Page for dates and times), and play by any and all of our live DJs during their shows!
If you have a band, or are a solo artist - regardless of genre! - and are interested in promotion (it's free!), CLICK HERE, then click Send - you will receive an automated reply which will tell you exactly what you need to do to get your music to us!
2.) Multiple Sclerosis Charities:
Here at Head Case Radio, we've seen first hand the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis. All of us either have friends who are afflicted, or are themselves suffering with this dreaded disease. There is no cure, and MS patients must face every day knowing that on any day, things that they have been able to do are no longer possible - and that these things could potentially build up and render the patient completely helpless.
The biggest fund raising project we have undertaken so far has been our Multiple Sclerosis Benefit CD. We gathered 11 of the finest independent metal bands from around the world, who have graciously donated one track to this truly special, worldwide CD. Bands from the USA, the UK, Greece, Portugal, and Australia can be heard on this CD! It's available at CD Baby, iTunes, as well as on several digital distribution sites.
This version (3.0) of the Head Case Radio web site went live on June 1, 2009. It's been tested on Firefox (versions 2-3), Internet Explorer (versions 6-8), and Google Chrome. If it doesn't work on whatever browser you happen to be using outside of those three, please feel free to contact us, but don't expect us to take it too seriously. (After all, Netscape is dead ... and no one uses Opera.)
It was developed using Macromedia Dreamweaver (now owned by Adobe) MX, along with Fireworks MX for the rollovers, and Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for all collateral images.
The absolute minimum screen resolution that this site supports is 1024x768, maximized. Anything smaller than that won't look good, and hasn't been tested. You have been warned!
